The problem

Asaan Digital Account applications needed several back-office steps before an account could go live: checking the applicant’s details, verifying them against other records and updating downstream systems. A team of nine did this by hand, and the workload grew with every new customer.

What I built

UiPath robots that pick up each application, run the verification and data checks, and update the back-office systems. Applications that fail a check or don’t fit the rules go to a work queue for the team, with the reason attached.

Step 1, SystemsApplication inNew account application received
Step 2, RobotCollect dataRobot gathers applicant details
Step 3, RobotRun checksVerification and data-quality rules
Step 4, PeopleReview exceptionsTeam handles failed or unusual cases
Step 5, RobotUpdate systemsBack-office records updated
Step 6, SystemsAudit logEvery step recorded
Simplified flow. Exact systems and checks are withheld for confidentiality.
